Greetings all, just dropping a line as the last few weeks count down beforethe release of our new album, House With A Curse, hits stores on June 22nd,via Temporary Residence.  – “Everything To Everyone,” the second track from H.W.A.C., premiered todayexclusively from AbsolutePunk.net.  – Pre-orders: Temporary Residence is still offering pre-orders, but thelimited black/white splattered vinyl is running out quickly. When youpre-order the record you will be automatically entered into a contest to wina copy of one of the test pressings and all LP orders will receive thedeluxe embossed / spot gloss jackets, which we are really excited about – itlooks great. Check out the HWAC trailer, the first song from the album, andpre-order info by clicking here. – Louisville Mixtape: Our pals at the Land Animal blog asked me to puttogether a mix tape featuring my favorite songs from Louisville. It took mea few months to put together, but I finally obliged and included extensiveliner notes / anecdotes. If I was still 16 years old, this is more or lessthe tape I would’ve made for you. Obviously I excluded any band that I wasever a member of, so no Coliseum, Black Cross / Widows, National Acrobat,Automatic, Enkindels, etc. – Louisville Release Show: On June 18th, we’ll be playing a FREE recordrelease show at Skull Alley in Louisville. The show will also be a photoshow featuring pics from House With A Curse by Nick Thieneman of YoungWidows. The photos will be displayed and available for purchase, then we’lltake the stage at 10pm. This is also the weekend of Skull Alley’s secondanniversary, join us to celebrate Louisville’s best all ages venue and ournew record. – North American tour with Burning Love: Just a few days after the album’srelease, we’ll hit the road with our good friends from Toronto, BurningLove. This will be the first half of the tour, with a Western leg beginningin late August. In the past we’ve done all types of tours, from DIY shows tobig package tours, for this – our first headlining jaunt in quite some time- we wanted to do things in the way that we like best, with just one of ourfavorite bands playing before us and great locals opening up each night.We’ll be playing some of our favorite clubs and a few favorite old haunts(we’re looking at you Westcott Community Center), so we hope to see youthere. Check out the dates below. – Social networking, wasting time, and glorifying minutiae: As much as wesometimes hate the fact that bands these days also have to be adept atinternet self-promotion, we are rather happy that MySpace seems to be fadingout and for the moment Facebook and Twitter seem like mildly enjoyable andproductive ways to virtually interact.
