Looking for a somewhat D-Beat blast from the past? Miss those ‘Maximum Louisville’ days with Coliseum ripping through songs at high speed? I wouldn’t call it nostalgia but the ghost of Coliseum has arisen as C.L.S.M., releasing a (mostly) unexpected new record, though not under their full traditional name. While Coliseum called it quits around 2015, Ryan Patterson and crew (Kayhan Vaziri & Carter Wilson) have kicked out a high-powered and limited-edition 10-song LP in conjunction with Equal Vision Records. The release started out with two limited colors that sold out quick, and a new smoke variant is out now, likely with more on the way.
