Drop Dead Darling has a 2 song demo CD-R floating around if anyone like punk with kind of a Cramps-ish feel. But damn, Philip takes a long time to set up his drums!
Danny Vagrant, Donnie Vagrant, 2 sixteen yearold girls, and some guy I don’t know are starting a new band. Donnie says that if you don’t think it’s the best band ever, he’ll hold you down and make you listen to the Snot Nazis.
I don’t remember if I wrote about it or not, but Mike Clifford, Jeff Jentsch, Charlie Lucas, Jonathan Mobely, and Ben Paskitti have started a new band called US LIONS. If you’re into fast, straight forward hardcore not too dissimilar to older American Nightmare or something, you’ll dig it. Good to see a band like this that isn’t another Thrashasaurus Rex decendant. In other news, a bunch of metal bands that have nothing to do with punk or hardcore keep emailing me their contact info and whatnot for the bands page. hilarious. I guess that’s what I get for listing punk/hc kids’ metal bands.
If all goes well, there will be fishing during the Camps set at the Kodan Armada reunion/last show. Seriously.
Pocket Bomb is now no more in substance, yet the spirit lives on kinda… Zach W., Mini-Prott, and Mini-Schwartz are staying together, but playing a different style of music under a different name. Their first show is this coming friday.
