RTC from Munich just emailed me some fine photos of Coliseum from their recent show with Rise Against in Germany. Click through and check them out when you have a moment. It sounds like they weren’t a fan of seeing our boys in a huge venue like the Zenith, but at least they want them to come back.

Royal Buttons will be launching Vend-A-Pin! Volume One – their first band/button series and album.

In other news: The band is heading out across the U.S. in June and August. They also have a new album coming out this year (No Release Date Yet) for free download as well. The songs will be a collection of what’s been on the shelf for a while. The record will be titled “Drown In Nostalgia” and is being mixed and mastered out in Tulsa with Stephen Egerton. Currently the band is writing a new album and is also planning a 7 inch release later this year. |
DIGITAL RELEASE OF THE ORIGINAL DISCOGRAPHY FROM BUSH LEAGUE IN STORES TODAY
Little Heart Records is proud to make the entire original discography from Bush League available again for the first time in years. Out of print since the bands break up this digital release will hopefully help the band find new fans and help fill out old collections while the band works on new material.
The collection includes all of the bands 7”s (‘Fetor’, ‘Sicko’ and ‘Smut’), compilation appearances and songs featured on the original ‘Discography’ disc during the band’s tenure with Better Days Records (the collection is missing the demos that ‘Discography’ included, at the band’s request).
With interest up for the band since their reuniting last year, it’s a good time to be a fan of this Louisville punk icon. The collection is on iTunes now and will be on other outlets such as AmazonMP3, eMusic and Spotify shortly.

Just so there’s no confusion… This is one of three in-store events (at Ear X-Tacy) taking place this Saturday. From 2-5pm we have OK DeeJays and Sam Sneed spinning wax on the ones and twos (free). At 6pm, we welcome Slithering Beast to the shop to play in support of their new EP (free). And finally, at 8pm we have a doom metal show taking place with THOU (Southern Lords Records), SEIDR, and BELOW ($6 – all ages). We are also starting a semi-new, semi-regular, event here at the shop for those of you that love vinyl.
