Ear X-Tacy one of the best
Unsurprisingly, Ear X-Tacy has been mentioned as one of the best independent record stores in the United States by Spin Magazine. While I couldn’t typically give a shit about anything that Spin says (or AP and similar magazines), I hope this helps drive more people out to the store, and it is great that they are getting this kind of exposure. So congratulations on doing a good job and getting noticed, Ear X-Tacy!

Trophy Wives (King Cab) in Chicago
Tony sent over some nice video from a show that Trophy Wives played last weekend in Chicago at a place called the Union Rock Yards. Check it out when you have a chance. They’re looking to play some more all-ages shows as well. Hit up the forums for a thread about it. BTW, the song is called “King Cab”.
Interviews
Duncan and I did a couple of interviews at the Millions/Tombs/BD/HTM/SA’s show last night. If the video looks good on playback, I’ll get some of the stuff edited together and put it up here this week. We didn’t get to How To Murder or Straight A’s, but interviews with them will be coming soon as well as other extremely … awkward… interviews.
